Getting started

Add a site, drop in one script tag, and confirm your first event. If you're stuck on "I don't see any data," the troubleshooting section below covers the real causes — no guesswork.

Step 01

Create a site

Add your site from Your sites → New site. Atriqo generates a unique data-site value for the snippet below, and creates the domain record the tracker checks against — you'll register any extra domain for this site (see the warning below) from Site settings.

Step 02

Add the tracker snippet

Paste this into the <head> of every page you want to measure:

Replace SITE_ID with the data-site value from your install screen. Just one tag — no npm package, no bundler step, no SDK.

Step 03

Confirm the first event

Open your site in a browser. The install screen polls for the first event automatically and moves through a few states:

Waiting for your first pageview… — checking for the first event.
First event received — your first event arrived. A button appears to go to the dashboard.
Connection issue, retrying… — a check failed to reach the server; Atriqo tries again on its own.
Still waiting — no event has arrived yet, but Atriqo keeps checking every 5 seconds. If it takes more than a couple of minutes, you're in the "I don't see any data" case — read on.

I don't see any data

Four things cause almost every case. Check them in this order.

Different domain, different site

example.com and www.example.com are two different domains as far as Atriqo is concerned. If your site answers on both, and you only registered one, traffic on the other won't count. Add the missing domain in Site settings.

Content Security Policy (CSP)

The snippet is a script loaded from api.atriqo.com, and it sends its own requests back to that origin. If your site sets a strict script-src or connect-src Content-Security-Policy, add api.atriqo.com to both directives — otherwise the browser blocks the script or blocks it from sending events, silently, with no error visible to you.

Ad-blockers

Atriqo isn't on the major tracker blocklists today, so most ad-blocker setups let it through. Some configurations — a strict custom filter list, for example — can still stop it. If a visitor's numbers seem low, an ad-blocker on their end is a possible reason; it isn't something Atriqo can guarantee around.

Single-page apps (SPA)

If your site is a React/Vue/Svelte(Kit) app, you don't need to call anything manually on route changes. The tracker hooks into pushState, replaceState, and popstate and records a pageview on every client-side navigation automatically.
