Guide

Install by platform

Choose how to install the tracker on your published site. The examples use a placeholder; copy the real value from your installation screen.

Before you start

Open Your sites, select your site and open its installation screen to copy the account-specific snippet. In the examples below, SITE_ID is a placeholder: replace it with the real value for your site. Install the tracker once on the pages you want to measure. If you already installed it another way, avoid adding a second copy. Check the result on the published, registered hostname for that site.

Choose your platform:

HTML

Place the raw snippet once before the closing </head> in the shared page template, or in each page you want to measure. Replace SITE_ID, publish your changes and visit the published hostname.

<script src="https://api.atriqo.com/track.js" data-site="SITE_ID" async></script>

If another integration already installs Atriqo, remove the duplicate installation path.

If no event appears on the published, registered hostname, see the getting started checks.

WordPress

Install WPCode (Insert Headers and Footers). In WordPress administration open Code Snippets → Header & Footer, paste the snippet in Header, replace SITE_ID, and save. Visit the published site. Do not edit header.php.

<script src="https://api.atriqo.com/track.js" data-site="SITE_ID" async></script>

Use one installation path: do not also add the same tracker through your theme or GTM.

If no event appears on the published, registered hostname, see the getting started checks.

Next.js

Import Script from next/script. Put the component in app/layout.tsx for the App Router or pages/_app.tsx for the Pages Router, inside the rendered layout/app. Replace SITE_ID and keep strategy="afterInteractive". Do not place it in _document.tsx.

import Script from 'next/script';

<Script src="https://api.atriqo.com/track.js" data-site="SITE_ID" strategy="afterInteractive" />

Publish and visit your registered hostname. Use one shared placement; do not mount another tracker copy on each page.

If no event appears on the published, registered hostname, see the getting started checks.

Shopify

Open Online Store → Themes and choose Edit code for your active theme. In layout/theme.liquid, paste the snippet once before </head>, replace SITE_ID and save. Check the published storefront.

<script src="https://api.atriqo.com/track.js" data-site="SITE_ID" async></script>

This edits your theme; it does not install a Shopify app. Recheck the snippet when replacing a theme. Do not also install it through GTM or another theme field.

If no event appears on the published, registered hostname, see the getting started checks.

Google Tag Manager

Create a Custom HTML tag containing the snippet with your real SITE_ID. Add an All Pages page-view trigger, save the tag and publish the container. Test on the published hostname.

<script src="https://api.atriqo.com/track.js" data-site="SITE_ID" async></script>

A container installed on only some pages cannot track the others. Do not also add the tracker directly to those same pages.

If no event appears on the published, registered hostname, see the getting started checks.

Webflow

Webflow: Webflow documents site-wide Head custom code for eligible Workspace or Site plans. We have not yet verified Atriqo on a published Webflow site. Contact hello@atriqo.com if you would like help checking a test installation.

Wix

Wix: Wix documents a Custom Code field for published sites with a connected domain. We have not yet verified Atriqo on a published Wix site. Wix warns that some tracking scripts may not work through Custom Code. If you want to try it, contact hello@atriqo.com so we can check your setup and the result with you.

Squarespace

Squarespace: Squarespace documents site-wide Header Code Injection on eligible plans; checkout pages do not support injected code. We have not yet verified Atriqo on a published Squarespace site. Contact hello@atriqo.com to review a test installation.

Check the installation

Visit the published site on its registered hostname and open its installation screen. A failed check or a lack of events does not identify the cause by itself. See the general checks. Do not test on localhost or expect a guaranteed detection time.

The browser hostname must be registered. To add a missing one that you control, open Site settings → Tracking → Domains and enter that exact hostname. Creating a site with an eligible bare domain can also register its direct www. variant; adding another domain does not create a www. partner. The site accepts up to 20 domains, including the main one. These checks do not establish Wix, Webflow or Squarespace compatibility.
